Zendesk Setup & Credentials

Zendesk configuration in Helpwave is centered on two stored values: a Zendesk token and a base API URL. The rest of the workflow builds on those values, even though the UI component is not currently surfaced as a dedicated dialog file beside the other CRM dialogs.

Required values
  • Zendesk token
  • Zendesk base API URL
  • A known Zendesk user ID for the acting agent when required
Suggested setup flow
  1. Store the token and base URL for the shop.
  2. Confirm the target agent has a Zendesk user ID available.
  3. Test ticket creation and ticket close on one sample record.
