Help Scout User Mapping

Helpwave can map shop users to Help Scout users after credentials and mailbox access are in place. The mapping tab loads both user lists and stores a per-user selection in Helpwave.

Prerequisites
  • A valid Help Scout access token
  • A mailbox selection that returns the intended users
  • Existing Helpwave users in the shop
Mapping steps
  1. Open the User Mapping tab.
  2. Refresh users when needed.
  3. Assign a Help Scout user to each Helpwave user.
  4. Save mappings and validate with a test conversation.
