Gorgias Setup & Credentials

The Gorgias settings tab stores both connection details and several Helpwave-specific defaults that influence how messages and tickets are created.

Available fields

• Gorgias Username
• Gorgias API Key
• Gorgias Base URL
• Webhook Secret
• Default Mail Contact
• Auto Message Pattern
• Default User ID

Setup order

1. Enter the username, API key, and base URL first.
2. Save the settings and confirm the integration loads correctly.
3. Add optional defaults such as webhook secret or default user ID.
4. Only then move on to user mapping and ticket push tasks.

Where these values are used

• Loading and syncing Gorgias tickets
• Sending replies back to Gorgias ticket threads
• Creating tickets from Helpwave into Gorgias
• Assigning fallback ownership with the default user ID
